Discover Co Do Village, a tranquil haven on the outskirts of Hanoi, known as the “Village of Painters.” Nestled along the Red River, this charming village is home to many renowned Vietnamese artists, including members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

Begin your journey at the Co Do Fine Arts Museum, a 5,000-square-meter space inaugurated in 2016. Marvel at the vibrant paintings that capture the rustic simplicity and natural beauty of the village. Visit the Sy Tot and Family Museum, housed in the late painter’s home, to admire 68 of his works.

Learn about the village’s artistic heritage, initiated by the late painter Nguyen Sy Tot. Discover how his passion for art inspired generations of villagers to embrace painting, transforming Co Do into a thriving artistic community.

Stroll through the village, where nearly every household is home to a painter. Immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere and witness the creative spirit that defines Co Do.

Start with a pickup from Hanoi’s Old Quarter and head to Chuong, a village that has been well-known for the craft of conical hat-making for over 300 years. Get an observe how conical hats are made and decorate a hat by painting it then bring it home as a souvenir.

Depart for the Quang Phu Cau village, which has been producing incense for more than 100 years. Take a walk to the center of the village and see how locals make incense on the artisanal, family scale.

First place for drop off: Hanoi Train Street. If you don’t want to get drop off here, please wait in the car.
